Is Theif Valley Res open yet?

I heard there were som big trout being caught a Theif Valley res this last fall....Is the Ice off the res yet? Does anyone know what they are biting on?

You can also look up (on that same link, I believe), the local Ranger Station, and find out about the ice out.

yes it is open and fish are being caught...... but I'm not telling you on what

I was out there battling the wind and freezin my rear off yesterday. Got two bites on worm and corn. Nothin else to say about it. can't wait for better weather

Its always windy there it seems hence the power windmills on the hill behind it. But seems to be best conditions at crack of dawn. But I am not the authority of there having only fished it 3-4 times

Cool, thanks for the tip. might have to stay at a buddies house the night before the wetting of lines so I can be there for the action (brining the wife and kids).
