Is the Slaw done on the nooks

I am guessing you mean fresh nooks in the tidewater, I think Eugene1 will have some input on this...

after the weekend rain, I do plan to give the chrome nooks another shot...roger

As far as big pulses of fresh fish, I wouldn't hold your breath. There will be fresh nooks, just not in the huge numbers we've seen. I have caught fresh fish until the end of November and have heard of others into February.

There will be more fresh nooks coming into the slaw, but the numbers are decreasing everyday. Sad I know, but it's the circle of life, just go out and give it a shot, or follow the fish upriver.

Roger and plumb got it right though, season is winding down all up and down the coast except for a few rivers that get the late runs. I know I have a few more nooks in my future this year!

There are defininitly fresh fish still there. We picked up a small one right out of the Old Town marina on Friday
