In river mining lower Umpqua

What's everyone's take about mining gravel in the river channel? Army Corps of Engn. getting ready to give the permit.

They have been mining it for decades..Its nothing new and the river is still there...

yep, ive seen tons of barge rock haulers.....sucks for the fishermen down river!!!!

Ha,ha

they have been dredging for 160 years now! It began when Scottsburg was created in 1850.
