Green Peter report 4/9

we fished green peter yesterday from 6:30 am until 6 pm. we found several fish scattered and a few large schools in a couple places, and seemed to be hugging the bottom in most places, but fishing is still very slow. surface temps were between 46.7 and 47.6. we had a few bites, the best ones were just before leaving, but nothing stuck. we only saw a few people with any fish at all. it was a very nice day on the lake mostly overcast with a few sunbreaks, and very little wind at all. launching at thistle was easy for us, the water is well above the toe of the ramp, but the dock isn't in the water yet. i dont think whitcomb is open yet. a very relaxing day at green peter, the fishing should pick up once the water gets above 50.

Nice pic! SOunds fun!

Any action near the dam?

we never made it down to the dam, but no one was leaving with any fish. we were marking lots of fish where we were, and we arent into jigging, so we hung out around the island mostly, and up the quartzville a little bit.
