Expect these tall tides we have had lately to usher in a fresh batch of fish into all the coastal estuary's. My budy and I went 2 for 3 in about 3 total hours of fishing this morning on the Alsea. Their were less than half a dozen boats in the jaws and no more than 20 bankies chucking their arms out. Most people had at least one hook up. Only chinook were caught that I personally saw and they were all on the smaller side. The bite seemed to pick up steam as the tide rolled in. Unfortunately we were forced to leave at 11:15 to make sure my friend made it to work. chartreuse #6 blue fox was the lure of choice followed by blue.
