Went to walter wirth today with my float tube. got a couple bites trolling woolly buggers. anyone have any better luck with a float tube out there lately?

have u tried bluegill lake its right across mill creek in the park,,,its lightly fished and great for a float tube...

doenst that pond mainly have bass instead of trout?

yes it is mostly bass,,ive seen big bass in there

would you use a lure for them or just use powerbait?

i like to use the storm swim shad,,,or imitation worms

ok thanks. ill try that next time i go there.

I've had the best luck there jigging a worm, or floating it under a bobber. For some reason I can't get a fish to bite an actual lure to save my life lately. But yeah, there are some pigs in that little pond. Same for WW. I've seen pics of a 12lb brooder that came out of there. A guy I know caught a decent rainbow off of a small rooster tail. Wouldn't tell me the colors though.
