First OR saltwater fish

Thanks for all of the n00b advice last week y'all. I was able to fish a few hours on Saturday at the Newport pier and Nye Beach. It was obvious that I had no idea what I was doing, but it was fun for sure. Plus, I didn't get skunked -- look at this lunker.

I would hazard to say a variety of sculpin we have. of which there are many.

Definitely better than getting skunked. You need to hold that one WAY out in front of you to make it look like a lunker

Cabezon are sculpin too! So they're not all bad..lol

Use live sand shrimp! You'll get better luck
