Favorite reels for float fishing? Level wind vs. spin?

The centerpin reels are crazy looking. I'm going to have to check out some u-tube on the subject. I met a guy on the clack that said he was hooked on them. I'm enjoying what I've got going if I can just find the fish! Good luck guys, thx

A bunch of guys around here use them but getting information from them is near impossible. They seem to look down on anyone not using them. I figure I'll get one and try it out I can learn from videos how to use it. If I don't like it I'll just go right back to my spinning setup.
