Eugene bass fishing?

where is a good place to take younger kids bass fishing around eugene? i know there is a lot of ponds all around but dont know if any are good bass ponds... Thanks for any advice!

You could try the Delta Ponds over by VRC. The city parks and rec have cleaned it up a bit so it should be easy fishing for kids. They also opened it up to the river so if the river is high the fishing will probably not be the best.

Yep delta ponds is probably the best bet for close to town, once the river comes down

I haven't fished it since but I've heard reports of some nice bass still being caught. Drove by there yesterday and it looked pretty good.

We sure do. There's a bunch of places I think we need to hit. Maybe do a pond to pond skipping day. lol
