decided to take a break for the salmon for a day and do some combat crappie fishing, in this one spot you can catch 200 crappie a day but only 7 people can hit it so you know what that means...rubbin shoulders for the money spot,

the 2 of us ended up probably catching 150 fish average of about 10 inches the bigger ones being 13 to 14.

there were plenty of them, no dinks in this spot just thousands of eaters if your into crappie. we didn't keep any but the people on either side of us took home full coolers.

Back in the day, my grandpa would take me to Brownlee Reservoir on the Snake River, and we would fill up two 5-gallon buckets with 18'' Crappie, anything under 12'' was released.

nwkiller, I think you would like the Snake River, Channel Cat galore, Carp galore, tons of Smallmouth, a million Crappie, big Yellow Perch. You know that saying, ''Everythings bigger in Texas" well thats how it is on the Snake . Its only an 8 hour drive.

Nice timing Andy
