Applegate Half Pounder

So after an unsuccessful trip on the Rogue on Saturday. My old man and I fished my hometown river, well, he guided. Fished above Cantrall Buckley Park, nothing happening. We then tried a spot we have fly fished for years and finally hooked up and landed. It wasn't huge, but a nice steelhead for the applegate up high. It was around 25 inches and weighed three and half to four pounds. Successful in my mind.

nice!! im gonna try up the buckley park soon

Was the river gin clear up there?
