Any luck recently?

You've probably already gone out there by now, but I went on Thursday with a buddy and we limited out in a couple of hours. The water level is great for fishing from the bank right now and the crowds have all long gone. :clap:

I need to try and sneak out there on a weekday. I was out there last Sunday and the whole lake was wedged with boats. Couldn't fish where we wanted to so we only ended up with 1 trout and 2 largemouths between two of us.

This time we were fishing from the bank tossing out about 100 feet from the shore, plunking off the bottom.

jleepga, i know what you mean ... i gave up on going out there during weekends

oh, and the size of the fish was nothing to write home about ... all between 11" and 14" with a couple of 8 or 9 inchers that went back
