Any good trout fishing around the Beaverton area right now? What about commonwealth or Bethany?

You're pretty much SOL, for places near Beaverton. I'd jump in the car, and head up to Lake Harriet.

Or...in 2 weeks...head over to the Mt. Hood Pond:

No; not true. This time of year, the Mt. Hood Pond is open to ALL.

It is only from the 1st of April - end of August; that it is only open to disabled anglers and youth 17 and under.

This information is easily found, in the reg book.

defiantly true went there myself in dec trying to catch something lol. It was a zoo and let me tell i didn't see one kid or handicapped person there.
