2016 on the North Santiam

Little help would be appreciated.

I was checking out the 2016 regs for the North Santiam and I'm wondering if it's open for trout all year now?

Page 42 reads:

Santiam River, North ForkMouth to Big Cliff Dam
• 5 hatchery trout per day, no minimum length.
• Open for hatchery steelhead all year.
• Open for wild steelhead Jul 1 - Aug 31.
• Open for hatchery Chinook salmon Jan 1 -Aug 31 and Oct 15 - Dec 31.
• Open for coho salmon all year from mouthto Stayton-Scio Bridge.
• Open for coho salmon Jan 1 - Aug 31 andOct 15 - Dec 31 from Stayton-Scio Bridge toBig Cliff Dam.
• Use of bait allowed from mouth to ODFWmarkers at Packsaddle Park.
• Closed from the ODFW markers locatednear the foot bridge upstream to the falls inMill City.
• Closed within the Stayton power canal.
• Closed from the ODFW markers atPacksaddle Park upstream to Minto Dam.
• Closed from Big Cliff Dam downstream400 feet.

North Fork and Tributaries,upstream of Big Cliff Dam
• Open all year.
• 5 trout per day, 8 inch minimum length.
• Use of bait allowed.

Based on that, it looks like the main north fork seems to revert to whatever the zone rule is, otherwise it would have a blanket "open all year" like the upper reach says. So whatever the zone reg on streams is, that's probably your open dates.
