Little help would be appreciated.
I was checking out the 2016 regs for the North Santiam and I'm wondering if it's open for trout all year now?
Page 42 reads:
Santiam River, North ForkMouth to Big Cliff Dam
• 5 hatchery trout per day, no minimum length.
• Open for hatchery steelhead all year.
• Open for wild steelhead Jul 1 - Aug 31.
• Open for hatchery Chinook salmon Jan 1 -Aug 31 and Oct 15 - Dec 31.
• Open for coho salmon all year from mouthto Stayton-Scio Bridge.
• Open for coho salmon Jan 1 - Aug 31 andOct 15 - Dec 31 from Stayton-Scio Bridge toBig Cliff Dam.
• Use of bait allowed from mouth to ODFWmarkers at Packsaddle Park.
• Closed from the ODFW markers locatednear the foot bridge upstream to the falls inMill City.
• Closed within the Stayton power canal.
• Closed from the ODFW markers atPacksaddle Park upstream to Minto Dam.
• Closed from Big Cliff Dam downstream400 feet.

• Open all year.
