Just wanted to give you fine folks a heads up. Shad on the umpqua are coming in. I spent a few hours out by yellow creek and hooked up with 6-8 shad. other folks there had nice stringers of shad. Water is a little higher than I am used to. Seemed pink jigheads with peach or chartruse...

There is an option for a special tag for additional deer in oregon this year for a total of 2. Also there are two units set up for white tail hunting which is down near Roseburg, Oregon.
I slayed black and white crappie last week at Ben Irving Reservoir. If you can find submurged wood or structure they will hang amongst it. I was using just a small 1-2 inch curly tail grub both under a float and just casting and retreiving.

Thanks for the heads up. I was actually in the Roseburg ODFW office and their staff agreed that these new regulations were put out too quickly with too many errors.
