Well done, looks like a fun trip.

Based on my luck so far this year I'd say Howard as that's where I've caught the most fish. My luck at Medco and Willow so far is one small bass and bunches of bluegill but I'm sure it was more my fault than a lack of fish.

I caught a pair of nice smallies on the south side by the Willow Point CG on July 1st.

You drove past some pretty good fishing spots to get to the dam, especially if you were looking for bass.

The kids I fished the weeds today and did okay, it was slow for a bit and there was a good 30-45 minutes of fish after fish.

Yeah saw them up at Williow on Sat. Managed to hit a Bluegill at Medco on Sat but there were too many drunken rednecks shouting profanity for me to want to stay with my family, which was a shame as it saw some big fish swimming along the weedy shore.
