what did u hook him on i have never fish around newberg i want to hook a oversized i dont want to target keepers there cause in hopes that the fishery will thrive above the falls i wont take any fish from there but do want to hook and land an oversize for some good pics

well i understand what u are saying but newberg is not the only place to fish above the falls

ya and thats what the cop i talked to originaly said but after further review and talking to his super we found out that is true BELOW the falls there is no rules for retention above he told me to keep the documentation with me if i fish there and that will clear me or we can call the state...

Go onto there page and look under special regs. And willy and it states the 3 day retention for belowe the fallls only after i found that i called to verify and was told that it is correct 3 days below the falls but general is above
