Couple of us fished the mouth yesterday with no luck. They were jumping all over but only saw a few caught, pretty frustrating. Most were chucking spinners. This is the first year i have fished the Coho run on the Clack, does the bite usually start picking up later in the season? Maybe once...

I'm also curious, never bobber fished for salmon. Tried searching images on google with not much success.

Any good spots to bank fish the columbia on the oregon side? Tried fishing steelhead a couple times on Sauvie Island with no luck. Maybe wait until they start heading up the Clack?

Spent a good chunk of the day saturday fishing both tides (two different locations out on sauvie island), came up empty. Only saw 4 other people fishing all day, they came up empty as well. Saw a lot of boats out, they were all fishing the washington side, not a one on the oregon.

Any suggestions for good spots to fish or is anywhere good? End of Reeder road maybe?
