Nice haul!

No, we were in pontoon boats but there were boats that size in the water when we were there. Like I said, there is plenty of water to go around early in the season but later in the summer they draw it down to almost nothing.

My son and I fished Clear Lake on Fathers Day and did well. Both of us caught 9 rainbows a piece in the 3 hours we were there. It was low but not the lowest I've fished it. Clear Lake has always fished good for me and never a skunk. If you can catch it during the incredible calibeatis hatch...

Clear Lake Mt Hood, Timothy Lake, Big Lava Lake, East Lake and Paulina Lake, Odell Lake, Crescent Lake, Crane Prairie, Wickiup............

Jay, you can run motors up there all day long. If it's a smokey motor you might get a stink eye or two but other than that you're fine. Remember, it's a small and narrow lake so anything larger than a drift boat may be overkill.

Is this true? I don't know of anyone foolish enough to attempt Oak Springs without a PFD but somebody drowned there one year I was there.

Nice fish and a couple of good fishing buddies you got there. No steelhead in Bend but a lot of good trout fishing can be done at East lake and Big Lava lake.
