I was fishing the canal on Sunday. Could see lots of pike minnow messing with my bait

Caught some carp today using canned sweet corn. Definitely my favorite fish to catch! The first one is essentially a fat goldfish lol!

Would you happen to have caught any carp from the canal? I feel like I should try catching one, but I'm also worried about the trout there eating the corn

I was out there for a few hours and had no bites the whole time I was there. My brother lost one of my spinners in a tree though 🤣

It hasn't been too bad the times I've been there. Gonna grab my friend Sam and hopefully be out around 10. I'm gonna try and catch some of the black carp that are there. Saw a school of them last time right at the shore. If all else fails I'll go for some bass and trout. Catching bass never gets...

I was there on Thursday evening and was fishing from 5-9. I had multiple blue gill chasing jigs that I was casting out but didn't catch any. My dad caught a monster carp though

I'm gonna hopefully hop over there and try to get my mom to drive tomorrow. The hard part is convincing her that alton Baker isn't full of sketchy people in the canal area

We got out too late for carp, but my dad lucked out and caught a monster. What really ticked me off is that we found 30+ carp corpses on the shore

Checkout crescent lake. We were catching smaller rainbows, but there were schools of 100's that you could see. They are right at the opening of the campgrounds in the area with the structure in the middle of the water. You can see the fish jumping all day long

Hey all. I've never gone fishing for carp before, and I'm going to try and catch some at kirk pond in Eugene soon. What is everybody's bait of choice?
