Well what fly selection do i need

i just moved here from missouri and ive been a couple of times but im not having any succes catching any steel head im swinging flys on my eight wieght

what u thank 5x or 3x or what u thank i normally use real light tippet like 6 or 7x for that extra finesse

well thank you and i i hope my five weight rod will be enough

july 6-12 ill be going to medford and i was wondering if there was any good places close to go and try to catch some trout.
