Hello I'm thinking of heading out to the Owyhee River with my 2 boys next week. I'd appreciate any advice you can give for a first timer. Is it worth the travel, my boys are beginning fly fisherman so I'm wondering how technical the river is? Thanks in advance, Michael

My kids caught them on a worm.

I caught them in the river, there were hundreds schooled up. I opened up one and they had these little fish in there stomach.

Caught these fish in siltcoos river, does anybody know what they are called?

It is a nice stream, running nice and clear but didn't catch any fish nor did I see anybody with fish. We fished about 2 miles of stream up from dolly campground.

Hello Anybody been fishing up Fall Creek lately? Just wondering how the fishing is on the creek? Is it worth the drive from Salem?

Wow, That's a little unnerving. I plan on heading over there with my two boys. What if one of them gets bitten by a Rattler, what do I do and where is the nearest place for help?

Awesome Fish! Nice Work. I just got back from fishing the crooked with my boys. They got a few small ones on spinners, it was fun for them. I was flyfishing and had a nice one come up for my grasshopper imitation but it came off as usual :-) Does the clarity of the river ever improve?
