I can attest to the white caps at Timothy Lake. I brought my kayak up there about three weeks ago, and due to Timothy Lake deciding it wanted to be an ocean, all I got out of the trip was grilled hot dogs at the shore :P Nice fish!

I second this. That being said, if you must, I trust my micro pflueger president 20 size for bluegill and trout. Drag even held up to a smaller steelhead (6lb-ish) and is still working fine. Oh my word. That makes me sick to my stomach. What a cruel thing to do to our wild fish. And a shoddy attempt at that. As much as I love to catch these steelhead, and take the ones that are legal to keep, this behavior is inexcusable. I will be sure to report anyone I see doing this.
