That's a shame, during the time they were getting rid of there fishing stuff everything was 50%-75% off and they had a ton of great stuff for really cheap! I have a white river fly reel and it is very nice, can't speak for the rod though.

Trout fishing is closed. I would check the regs as to what is open as I think only steelhead is.

Actually was not that bad. They have people camping there and I think they help tend to it. Its still a little bit flooded.

Orvis has a free fly fishing clinic, you can check it out on their website. Its called fly fishing 101 and they have 201 as well. No you will not need a new reel, if you dont like the no drag I would get one but a lot of fly fishing reels have no drag, you use the palm of your hand to control...

Went out monday, caught 5 or so stocker trout, hooked one nice 2lb (guessing) fish but only had him on for a brief time, not really sure what he was but he was a nice one. Panfish are THICK. Seen some nicer bass cruising the bank. Think they're about to spawn. Lost a pair of forceps out there...

Lol Dude did you see the picture I posted of mine?! All it is is thread and some feather, I had no idea how to do a half hitch or a whip finish so there was no knot at all. :D Comon someone has to have pictures of their first fly, or the guts to post em! :)
