    First Kokane Fishing Trip

Thanks for the info on Dan-Dees, I'll stop by there on my way out one of these days. I only knew about True Value because I ran into Robbie of R&K spinners and he told me about True Value. I wonder if Dan-Dees carries the hoochies made by R&K?

    First Kokane Fishing Trip

Zebrix, I have had good luck using R&K Spinner hoochies in lime green with a tint of pink or red on the tail. I put the hoochie behind a small dodger (silver or hammered silver), tie the hoochie about 1 to 1.5 times the length of the dodger Then tip the hooks with shoepeg corn (not just regular...

Lakes Green Peter Reservoir Fishing Reports

I may have been too deep. We were trolling with 1.5 to 2 oz of weight and small lake trolls. I am guessing we were probably down 20 ft or so. Fished with hoochies, wedding rings and rooster tails. Both fish were caught with red wedding rings and corn soaked in anise. Had a good time anyway

Headin' to G.P. in the mornin'!

Sounds like the same way I fish for those little buggers. I just mixed up some shoepeg corn dowsed in anise, anise/krill, kokanee, and krill. Always had the best luck with plain anise flavoring. Maybe they like the smell of licorice. Gonna give it a shot on Saturday, I'll put on post on the...

Headin' to G.P. in the mornin'!

How were you fishing for kokes, trolling? I'm still planning on getting out there in a day or two and usually I troll with downriggers, dodgers and hoochies. I have seen several posts that say the kokanee were marked in 60 plus feet of water. Even though you didn't see any kokanee while fishing...

Looking forward to hear how you did. I'm thinking about getting out to GP either tomorrow or Thursday. Can't stand waiting any longer to go fishing.
