Fished up in Wallowas last October. We fished Ice Lake, Douglas and Glacier. All three were productive with brook trout but not very large, maybe 10-12” was the biggest. Have heard some of the lakes up there may hold bigger ones, even Glacier may have produced 16-20” before as it’s a bigger...

Was just talking with my brother in-law tonight about fishing the Nestucca and bay as he’s got a place in Pacific City. Fishing/Crabbing the mouth in September-October or drifting from Cloverdale to Pacific City would be a great time!

Trip Tuesday was cancelled due to wind & swells. Everything lined up perfect yesterday so we got out. Coho action was steady as well as rock fish, crabbing was slow!

Agreed, he's pretty skinny but thought he exaggerated a bit. He said they hooked 13 last Tuesday slow trolling mag lips. He was with an old timer who knows the lake very well, may have to give it a try soon!

A buddy from work was over there last weekend-Tuesday and sent me a picture of fourteen coho layed on a cleaning station at Nightengales. He said he caught a 22 pounder.

Have caught some nice 2-3lb fish, they seem to like the shrimp scent on the lure. The dog wasn't mine, belonged to a guy in a boat who netted it for me. Was gonna net it myself, after a good 10-15 minute fight he offered.
