Sorry for the late reply, but I did just recently learn on the legality of carp fishing, I'm a really new beginner in fishing, but I also do know there is a ton of rainbows in there, I always go for rainbows in Devils Lake, never really thought of fishing for carp there.

Grass carp has been stocked into Devils Lake about 4 days ago, I've tried to fish off the Regatta dock once with no success, probably gonna try this weekend if I can't get out to my crawfishing spot.

Bought a medium sized crawdad trap off of Temu for $6, took FOREVER to come, but I got it and I gotta say, it looks really nice, it feels good, only problem is that the trap is made of net and any snag could probably break it, so I'm gonna have to be careful with it but I'm really impressed...

I'm just glad they are trying to make sure the species doesn't go extinct, better than some of the other states and their government.

They are pretty good, just impulse bought some random crap but the worst part is that it takes ~2-4 weeks just for your stuff to get there, drives me nuts.

Perch?? I've never caught or even heard of perch in big creek, are they in a specific part of the reservoir?

From what I remember, but I'm not sure, that's where I'm pretty sure I caught my first fish, and first trophy trout. Big Creek Reservoir is always a great place to do some trout fishing.

Has anyone caught any crawdads in the Lincoln County/central coast area? I went down to a spot off of the Salmon River and got skunked again, 4 times this year and haven't even seen one. Most recent time I even dropped my trap next to a dead fish after putting a liberal serving of Craysters...

That's a great looking haul, but I'm not really sure about buying tackle off of Temu, I've bought some stuff from it before, I even have stuff coming soon, but I just don't know about Temu Tackle, but with all that only $20, it's not a huge loss I guess, you just gave me an idea.

I have a general idea where it is, near the loop of drift creek and to the northeast a bit, east northeast of the Mennonite camp, which I've seen some old posts from the IFish forum. Gonna start practicing some hiking with my buddy and we'll head out there in the next 3 weeks or so.
