Give the upper, upper Rogue a shot. Up above Lost Creek lake. The hatchery scatter-plants some nice rainbows from Memorial Day to Labor Day all along the section from Prospect to Hammaker campground, but even if they didn't there are plenty of native 'bows in there for the type of fishing...

Empire Lakes were stocked last Friday, April 26th. 3,000 fish into Lower, and 3,000 into Middle. The Middle stocking went into some net pens for a kids fishing event over the weekend, and then the fish that were left over after the event were released from the net pens into the lake. Probably...
