Went out of Winchester on Friday and were limited out by 10:00 AM. Had 4 people in the boat and got are limit of 8 fin-clipped Coho. We probably threw back at least 10 wild fish and missed 10 or so

I've been waiting for a report out of Winchester. It's killing me that my boat is in the shop. Taking a friend's boat this Friday. Though.
Thanks for the fish porn.

Fished out of Winchester the previous weekend absolutely best fishing I have seen in years easy limits Friday and Saturday. The wind machine needs to stop so we can get back out there. Most all fish fish came on 360 flashers and hootchies with a chunk.
We fished 250' to 300' of water just south of the jaws. I hear today the fished moved out to about 370' of water. If the wind would ever stop I would love to get back out there.

Normally when august rolls around the wind tends to die down hopefully that happens.

Tried to get out today but it was too rough for our little boat. Fog was thick too so after we crossed the bar and realized it was too rough we couldn't see the jaws and had to navigate via our phone app. Good times and slightly butt pucker. We ended up dropping crab pots inside and fished. No fish and 9 crabs. Back to Roseburg by 11. Not a total waste of time but pretty close.

Thursday its on again the ocean is laying back down. I hope to be back out there again Saturday looking for another Coho rodeo. Reports say the fish are still there.

Any recent intel on the ocean fishing? Heading out in the a.m. and wondering which direction to head. Intel I have is from 10 days ago but that guide left for AK last week and I don't know anyone else that's fishing out there. PM if you want. I'll reciprocate after my trip tomorrow with everything I know.
