So I decided i'm going to Hagg today. I've been fishing at Faraday the past week and the fishing is HORRIBLE!!! I've done a little looking around on the interwebs and I think Hagg is my best bet to hook into some fishy's. Report and pics (hopefully on the pics) when I get back. Wish me luck!

good luck!

Good luck. Bag 'em n' tag 'em! (toe tags that is...LOL)

Farady is ONLY good at the dam. Never had any luck other than there.
Did you try North Fork Reservoir up the road a bit? May be a shorter trip for you.
If you go to Hagg, Sain Creek inlet works well.
Good luck!

Are saying the best fishing at Hagg is in-Sain :D

So PTown; how did you do at Hagg? Sure was a beautiful afternoon, to be out there!

I did a lot better than I was doin at Faraday thats for sure. Got a ton of bites, landed 3, released 1. The lake was awesome, definitely gonna be going back there. Especially after I get me a boat. The bank fishing was great tho, I fished just to the left of Ramp A casting out towards the damn kinda. I started casting west parallel to the dock with the Sheriffs garage. Then worked my way to the left around the little hump kinda and started gettin bites casting towards the damn. The lake was awesome though, I really enjoyed it. I want to go back and get there early in the morning. I really want to go there with a boat but I won't be purchasing my boat for awhile. I only have one picture, of the first one I caught. I caught all of them on Garlic Scented Lemon Lime colored PowerEggs, which are the Green and Yellow ones.

Here he is in my cooler.

Glad you got into 'em!
Keep it up and tight lines!

Nice going, PTown. I like your perseverance and enthusiasm. Those qualities will enable you to hang in there through the occasionally skunky times that we all have. You also might try for bass around the boathouse structure.
Though sometimes Hagg's bank can be more productive than the deeper waters, a watercraft of any sort, even a float tube, will make a huge difference. I remember last summer a couple of fly fishermen in float tubes on Sain creek giving a virtual clinic as they hooked one big trout after another.

yea faraday sucks now that they put that channel thing in there fished it once all over it with lots of stuff and nothing not even a bite and i usual slay them there rainbow trout is one species im good at catching ha lol
