This morning

I had to drive my daughter to her friend's house in Junction City, so on the way home I stopped at the pond and dipped some power bait.
The bite was fast and steady, and I limited in about an hour despite missing at least 4 fish.
I don't think my bait was in the water at any time as much as 5 minutes without a bite.

That's great plan on getting my trout on this weekend hope I do as well as you prolly gonna drown some worms under a bobber that's my preferred way to catch them out of my kayak thanks for sharing

Glad to know they are biting somewhere. Anyone ever taken sonar out there? Wonder how the bottom looks?

I believe that JC pond is likely a borrow pit from hiway 99 construction, same as Bond Butte was used for I5.
As such, it would probably have a relatively flat bottom and uniform depth.
