The Little Deschutes

hey do any of you guys ever fish the little D? over by La pine? My father inlaw just bought a house over there with 1400ft of frontage on the little D. there is not much info I have found since the larger river of the same namesake gets most of the attention.

We have property upstream of Lapine and the fishing is fun. Down where you are the stream is bigger and holds some monster trout. I have to drive/hike quite a bit to find water deep enough to hold bigger fish but by my property we can catch small fish all day. It's a beautiful stream that you're going to love exploring in the summer.

I have a buddy that owns a cabin off of gillick rd. that creek runs through there im pretty sure...some very beautiful fish live in those waters.
you can catch them on just about anything during the spring and summer.
