so last night i caught a tagged summer, tiny little thing maybe 4 pounds, didn't fight was all wrapped up in line. but he had a tag in him but there were no numbers on the tag, it was just a thin piece of plastic. so did some one cut it off and release this fish or did they do this to keep snaggers from spoting taged fish? i dont have a picture of the tag ill try to find it somewhere but i dont know if my mom tossed it or not.
on a side note the mckenzie is a mess, i anchord in the pressure hole. had guys on the bank pointing and laughing at me, kinda odd but there was a lot of people i hooked a couple trout and every other cast pulled a line off the bottom thats ridiculous. then went down hooks and corkies all over on the river bottom, a few dead fish, big fish steelhead and salmon size. then got a diver with about 150 foot of line on it still. seen lots of fish but they werent biting. the fish i got felt like a trout and i was expecting a trout then thought it was a redside cause it was heavy, then finally found out it was a steelhead right infront of the boat when it jumped twice and only took a 5 ft run then into the net. very disappoited in the fight, but when wrapped in line i guess its hard to move.
