Summer Creek fishing?

There's a little creek in Tigard called Summer creek. A stretch of it is near me, is there a possibility to pull a few fish from it? Secondly, there is a stream that runs next to Progress lake. Any fish in that? If so, where? Thanks!

Never heard of anyone fishing the creek. People do fish Summer Lake. Sounds like you live fairly close to me.

Cool, I've heard rumors Summer creek has a few fish, but I can't remember anything else about it. I'll probably hit the creek by Progress Lake later today, if I do I'll post a report.

It's closed until May 24th. Lakes are open.

Reading the regs, looks like the Tualatin doesn't open until May 24th, either, which is different from previous years.

Oh, doesn't bother me in the slightest. Since I'm pretty sure you'll be releasing everything, no harm, no foul. Just don't want you to get in trouble.

And remember, when they do open, you need the Columbia River Endorsement to fish the streams.

Tualatins been that way for at least the last 4 years

You only need the Columbia River Endorsement if you are fishing for salmon, steelhead, or sturgeon.
