Striped Bass

Hey all, brand new here.

I’ve done a bit of searching through the forum on stripers and found some useful info.

But… I wanted to head to the coast in the next week or two from Redmond and try to target Stripers. Is there any around this late? The posts I read say they are earlier. I used to catch these as a kid and would love to find some.

Back when I was stationed in Charleston back in the 70's there was stripers in the sloughs of Coos Bay, and we used to start the season by catching them on Bastendorff Beach.
