what are your favorite steelhead rigs, thinking about trying a kwikfish?

k10 flame red or x4 or x5 flame red for summers on the columbia.

Jig and bobber! Has produced wonderfully for me.

jig and bobber or spinner are the most exciting

They really hammer a spoon or spinner. But, they probably hit kwikfish the same way. IDK, I've not use kwikfish.

My favorite has to be a drift fished pink worm for big nativewinters.

Small corkie/puff ball and a night crawler for summers.

Spinners/spoons can be fun for both under the right conditions.

K11 Kwikfish can be DEADLY ! I enjoy jigging spoons as well. However drift fishing a big pink worm in February will make your jaw drop. I have some black and red 4 inch worms that the steel just can't handle late in the year. I juice them up with craw anise .

Drifting good roe for winters and this last summer I did great with a nightcrawler threaded on the hook and a pink fishpill on the bend of the hook.

Depending on the river and time of year. My all time favorite is drift fishing small presentation for summers with everything having to be right. Lighter lines and smaller hooks etc. The fight is amazing and the fish have a fighting chance to kick my butt.

I hate pullin' plugs.....they fish the river so slow!!!

But....under some conditions....they are the best!

Kwikfish??? For steelhead....7x Green/Gold Pirate!!! Seen me some fish caught on that one last year!
