This past Sunday I hit the Upper Rogue in search of some summer steelhead. It was a hot, crowded afternoon but I managed to find a couple of fish. I also found out that steelhead like multiple types of metal. (Sorry about the crappy pictures. I forgot my camera's memory card at home)

Very nice Steven!

I need to start banking it again with the spoons. Love how they hit it!

Good catch. The spoon is my new best friend. I like the way they almost jerk your arm out of its socket when they hit. Nothing subtle to detect with spoons.

Yeah I love it too. Spoons and spinners are definitely may favorite ways to fish.

I need to get your number to let you know when I'm going.

Thanks for the blog, I'm going to try spoons here soon. The summers are proving to be more difficult for me to find. Not catching with my regular methods so might as well spend time on another.
