Justin from J&J tackle was going to be in my neck of the woods this weekend, and he was bugging me to come out for a quick trip! i told him he had from 530-8 he was a bit reluctant about getting up that early and only fishing for that short of time, but his other offers fell through! he had the first fish, about 4 inches long(he wouldn't let me take his picture with it) but here are a couple he ended up getting he had half a dozen or so idk i always loose count here they are

then as he was netting one for me, he set his pole down and saw his line running and it was double time!

here are a couple of mine. i think we ended up with 15-20? contrary to what some retard, who will remain nameless, tried to say, they are NOT post spawn.. look at those bellies! they are getting ready to get it on! haven't seen any beds really, but they are starting to stage up very nicely! here's a few of mine before we got tired of taking pictures! not bad for just a couple hours right?

oh and i didn't even touch my jig rod today! i used a new finesse setup with a shakeyhead and a creature bait! jig bite is turning off, but i got an awesome new prototype jig from J&J that i cannot wait to try next time! it's going to be a big hit i think! the shaky heads were also hand pourd by j&j with a 4/0 hook! i've had a really hard time finding a shakeyhead with that big of hook! i love them! and the paint doesn't chip like the other ones i've used!
