Siletz sea run cutthroat

I'm heading over to the Siletz tomorrow, to look for some sea run cutthroat from the bank. I was just curious, though.. how far upstream does one find them? Any other advice is welcome, but that's my main question.

I'd ask Tony, but he's famously tight lipped... lol

SEA run cutts are found near the SEA when they run. Call any of the RV/campsites and ask them where the bite is on and then let us OFF know. They all have small bait shops and boat ramps even docks to fish OFF of. Don't forget to eat at MO's. Tony

Couldn't sleep last night! Ended up bailing on Siletz plan at 3am, and switched alarms out for a more local McKenzie trip.. but bailed on that plan as well. Going to try again tomorrow, one or the other.

Only thing i caught was a roast lamb sammich.

I fished a few spots from twin bridges down, but my skunk powers are on full force right now.
I could see a nook.. but he wasn't having any of my nonsense. I threw the whole box at him.
He was definitely old and haggard.. but it would've been a first for me.
I'll try a little later for some sea run cutthroat i guess.

Let's see if I can help with the skunk. Take a white jig head slide a fish pill on the hook up to the head, follow-up with a cutOFF pink worm, below a strike indicator. Check the fish pill label that contains ONLY anchovies and sardine. Tell me how you do on metalheads. Tony
