Rogue River - tips & places?

Hi, I am looking to go fishing and camping on the Rogue River next week (October 2021). I have no idea where to camp or best places to try. I would be camping and fishing close by hopefully and do not have a boat. Not sure even what area of the Rogue but would like to be somewhat close to Grants Pass maybe. If anyone has a name of campgrounds or areas to try from shore I would appreciate it. I am happy to fly fish or rod and reel for trout, steelhead or anything really. Thank you for any direction you can give me so I can get this trip planned.

Indian Mary is beautiful. Lots of fishing in the area but I'm not familiar with bank access.

Try Shady Cove from the bridge upstream a lot of bank access and good fly or spin.
Better yet head above Lost creek dam and fish the headwaters of the rogue
