Quick Foster trip

I had a few free hours friday evening and hit the S.Santiam arm. Its a nice getaway from the chaos on the main lake. Using spinners, tubes and small worms we picked up smallmouth, largemouth, pikeminnow and my very first perch(i dont even know what they bite on). Fished water 5-15' deep.

Very nice! I kayak through there with my dad. Cool spot. Live the vertical cliffs.

I'll be darned. I didn't know that there are any perch in Foster.

I've gotten LOTS of perch, at other lakes, on nightcrawlers. A bobber and VERY SLOW retrieve gets 'em. Gonna have to try that at Foster!

I was told that there are sturgeon in Green Peter. :lol:

I gotta say though, on my sonar I saw something VERY large right around the boom (290' of water) moving around right at about 170'. It was BIG.....
