Prawn spinners?

What exactly is a prawn spinner? Is it just a spinner that you put a prawn or shrimp tail on? These sound promising. A picture would be nice also. Thanks.

thats pretty much what they look like. quick disclaimer: not my pics, just did a couple pics i have used as reference.

Here is what I use. The wire keeps the prawn straight which is the way I prefer it. Run the wire up the tail and have it come out the head. I can troll or run this on anchor.

In Eugene, just got back from there and they didn't have anything close to that. I made a couple today and I am going to try them out tomorrow on the McKenzie.
