New boater

I got a new boat this year and haven't drifted down a river where I have been on the sticks. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how drifting the nestucca would be for someone who has spent time in a drift boat but hasn't been at the sticks. Any info, especially about certain drifts to run, would be great.

That Depends on how long you want to fish but I will generally spend about 8-10 hours on that drift. Unless you limit out in the first hole like my boats been known to do

Thanks for the advice. It was a good run once I got going (wasted 1.5 hours getting my oar locks to unfreeze). We went 0 for 3 but that's how it goes when you have a rookie with tou
