Pikeminnows do eat eggs, but people catch suckers using salmon eggs, so I assume they do eat eggs like most fish (what fish doesn't like protein). Pikeminnows are considered Piscovorous, which means they prey mostly upon other fish, but of course as everyone knows, a Pikeminnow will eat anything.
Pretty much all bottom dwellers will eat eggs, I used to kill suckers until I realized they feed mostly on algae. I believe, if it lives on the bottom, then it helps clean up the bottom.
