Motors / planes banned on Waldo

New article, from the Oregonian. Looks like a great move, to me.

NOTE: ban is not on Electric Motors, which propel a boat under 10 mph.

I think the ban on gas motors is great for that lake. If anyone has every been on it you would see why. Now all they need to do is ban the mosquitoes.

This ban sucks, I really liked going across the lake and hiking to the Eddeleo's. After years and years of boating, it is still perfect and engines are getting cleaner and more efficient. Sure as heck would not want to be on the lake when the whitecaps pick up with a paddle and a minn kota troller.

I can't agree more..... Just very sad, so very sad..... What a great lake and wonderful angling opportunities ..
