More bull trout today

I had another good trip to lake billy today. One of the fish was 29" and the other was 21". I wished I had a little more time to stay on them today! The fish were released.

I was using a 3 oz trolling wieght, purple/silver flasher and cut herring on both fish. I was trolling about 1.0 mph.

Awesome. After steelhead, bulls are my next favorite fish.

I am very thankful to live in this state and have access to all this fishing! Bulls are one of my favorite fish and being able to chase them in the winter months on lake billy is great.

ps- when I am releasing fish, I try to go with just a quick "grab and grin" picture. while we are not restricted yet (except for oversize sturgeon which cannot be even partly removed from the water), the permanent regulations advise:

"All trout, salmon and steelhead that are released must be unharmed and should not be removed from the water."
