. . . for low & gin clear waters . . .

i believe that size hooks is relatively secondary but the minimalist sparse tie is important.

The sparser the better...less is always more

Yes, hook sizes are secondary (and somewhat arbitrary when crossing over brands)...I always ask what size flies are only to get a relative sense of overall size...
