Massive Sturgeon

I was right next to Willamette Falls to fish for sturgeon because my friends said it was a good place for sturgeon. The first 30 minutes was slow but it picked up after awhile. And when it picked up our 1st bite we caught. It was one big massive sturgeon! It was 3 1/2 to 4 feet long. I couldn't belive my eyes! When I weighed it, it weighed 26 pounds 2 ounces! What a day that was!

If you want to see big sturgeon go to bonnevile dam during shad season. Thats a good fish anywyas

Agreed with Troutier Bassier, my dad and I used to go shad fishing at Bonneville when I was a kid, and those sturgeon were absolutely unbelievable. Boy that brings back some memories.

I said massive because everytime I catch a Sturgeon using a shad, they usually are about 1 1/2' to 2'.
