Lower Deschutes, first steelhead

We had an awesome time on the Deschutes last weekend. We did a two night camp and fished for two days. I landed my first steelhead (a native one )and lost 3 others. I landed a couple of suckers though!

My buddies did great and landed a dozen. Here is a video of my first one and some picture of our trip mixed.

Thanks, D river state recreation area, a couple of miles from the parking. We had to ride our bikes to get there.
