Log Garden

Not knowing this river, it was interesting to run through this stretch. I deemed it the log garden and there were more uprooted trees than i had seen on any river thus far. Not sure where they all came from, however the river contain a lot of them. This stretch around the islands was interesting enough that I quit fishing for a few minutes and took some low grade video with my phone.

This is not in my new-to-me drifter, but in my bro's with his 15 years of rowing experience at the helm.
If you can wade through it, stick around to the end of the video...

Oh...and the consistent depth in this strech was like 8" or less.....

PG13 for language....

Thats insane!! Def not for a newbie on the sticks!

The Little North Fork has thousands of whole uprooted trees all over the place from the flood earlier in the year. Considering Detroit catches all the logs above the dam, the LNF probably contributes a pretty large share of the logs in the NF. Cool video.

Drooid

Nice video, did you catchany thing? Where did you drift from?
